The CACI, Inc. National Services Business Group has immediate openings for motivated Desk Officers in support of Intelligence Community requirements that are integral to the planning and implementation of foreign intelligence collection, counterintelligence, and other sensitive operational activity. They provide the seamless integration between Headquarters and and the field necessary to drive operations to success. An effective, versatile, and resourceful Desk Officer is critical to the success of the most creative, challenging, and impactful operations. These roles are primarily based at customer facilities throughout the National Capital Region. This effort offers the opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals who provide management, mentorship operational expertise within their area of specialty.

LANGUAGE - A substantial language premium is available for those with demonstrated, tested and verifiable proficiency and expertise using the Inter-Agency Language Roundtable (ILR) standards in required languages.


Desk Officers require the initiative, creativity, integrity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. They are expected to develop and maintain broad networks across the government. Ideal candidates are inquisitive, investigative and action-oriented with the ability to take the initiative and deliver solutions. Self-starters are preferred who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work independently and in a group. They must be able to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with US Government professional at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank. Coupled with experience in complementary areas a minimum of a bachelor's degree is required (graduate degrees desired).

Desk Officers apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management. In addition, they are responsible for program management throughout the Customer, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives. The demanding pace of operations has Desk Officers finding solutions to complex operational problems, identifying new technical tools and capabilities to advance operations, and tapping the resources of the IC and US Government to ensure operational requirements are met. They provide objective reviews of on-going and potential operations and serve as the vital link between personnel in the field and the Intelligence Community.


  • Applicants must also possess strong written and oral English communications skills.

  • Customer tradecraft certification

  • Verifiable experience within the specific field of expertise appropriate to the level applying

  • Demonstrated with IC or other US Government agencies within the area of expertise
