Support to the Damage Assessment Management Office (DAMO) Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cyber Security Program to protect controlled technical information (CTI).
Analyze compromised data sets for controlled defense information that could provide an adversary with the capability to:
Develop countermeasures to the system/platform/ technology;
Provide potentially damaging insight into defense plans and operations;
Shorten development of similar adversary systems, platforms, or technologies.
Review law enforcement and counterintelligence reports of cyber intrusions to determine requirements for cyber incident damage assessments, coordinate with the appropriate investigative agency, and determine applicable defense agency or Military Department equities involved. Track ongoing cases and Military Department/Agency reporting on analysis outcomes.
Analyze the results of past cyber incident damage assessments and other reviews of compromised defense information for trend analysis.
Conduct initial assessment of compromised data provided in nominated cyber incident damage assessments. Conduct open source analysis and, as feasible, interagency coordination on nominated damage and risk assessment cases.
Conduct comprehensive triage and analysis of compromised media to provide enterprise view of impact; input into Program Protection Plan reviews, and cross case analysis.
Oversee and coordinate subject matter expert participation in cyber incident damage assessments.
Manage Analytic Tool Suite (ATS) working group to identify system change requests for ATS Change Configuration Board consideration.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related technical field.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
7+ years of experience
2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Critical Program Information identification, or Program Protection Plan development/execution
3+ years of experience with DoD weapons systems; systems engineering
Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base Cyber Security policy, program protection planning.
